Editor, Resin Rundown
James Vek
Tabletop gamer turned resin-printing nerd. Tests Mars-class printers, wash stations, and resins on real miniatures — not render farm fantasies.
James Vek started resin printing because buying painted miniatures for a long-running campaign stopped scaling. After three cheap printers and two ruined desks, he built Resin Rundown to document what actually matters: peel settings, wash time, cure depth, and ventilation that keeps roommates from complaining.
He compares Elegoo, Anycubic, and Saturn-class machines on the same test models, tracks resin bottles by batch, and writes plainly about fumes and gloves because resin marketing rarely does. Every printer and resin on Resin Rundown is bought at retail; affiliate links are labeled at the top of each review.
